Laughter & Playfulness

Our goal is to create more joyfulness in our lives as we create an atmosphere of pleasure and happiness that inspires our love of people, life, animals, nature, art, music, laughter and fun. We will learn how to relax, how to enjoy life and that laughter truly is the best medicine! Clinical research and data supporting the therapeutic value of laughter and playfulness help the participant reach this goal.

Laughter & Playfulness: A Continuum, A Choice, An Obstacle Course
Although the meaning of "laughter and playfulness" seems to speak for itself, there are many ways to convey those widely used words. For laughter we also can use: hilarity, guffaw, mirth and amusement. We can express playfulness with words like: bounciness and aliveness. Strung together, Laughter and Playfulness evoke a sense of fun and happiness. Clarification is established regarding what laughter and playfulness is and what laughter and playfulness is not.

In choosing Laughter & Playfulness we are choosing to live life more fully by engaging in fun activities with a sense of passion! We opt to focus on the positive and the healthy side of life that can be accessed through experiences with laughter, pleasure and joy. On this path we will discover the child that still lives within us, and our free spirit that wants to express itself.

The Laughter and Playfulness Journey:
The steps and milestones involved in laughter and playfulness toward oneself and others is explored during the laughter and playfulness journey. At the conclusion of this journey, each participant should have a clear understanding that laughter and playfulness is vital to health. Specific guidelines provided throughout enable the participant to integrate new laughter and playfulness behaviors in order to achieve optimal health and wellness.
